Cahaba Valley Church was born in 1973 with members committed to celebrating the Good News of salvation by the grace of God and Lordship of Jesus Christ. We invite you to review our statement of mission and our statement of faith as a way to understand as much as we can understand today of how God calls us on our Christian journey.

We continue to try to do the will of God as best we can understand it, even if it means following a path that is challenging and difficult.  We have never embraced change for the sake of change, but as a congregation, we believe that it is crucial for all of us to do what we believe God is calling us to do.  We also seek to respect and support each other as we struggle to discern God's call.

No one is required to volunteer or participate in any part of our church life. But each one of us is free to explore and use his or her gifts as we build up the body of believers at Cahaba Valley and God’s people around the world.
