You won’t find an easy five-step program for becoming an “official” member of Cahaba Valley Church. Over the years, we have had people work, worship and even support us with their gifts, but never make the request to be considered members.  We have others who have moved away because of jobs or family responsibilities, but still consider themselves deeply connected to the Cahaba Valley family.

So all we can say is that we open ourselves to people who are willing to open themselves to God and to others in love and respect as we all seek to embrace the call of Jesus more deeply.  We seek to welcome everyone and to give one another grace as we grow in our relationships with all people.  At the same time, we want to be a place of close and caring nurture for each of us individually. 

Cahaba Valley began as a place that embraced “no creed but Jesus.” Today, our Statement of Faith provides the best description of our most deeply held beliefs.  Read that statement, join us in worship, study and work and, when the time is right, simply tell one of the elders or ministers that you want to become a member.
